Watson’s Demerara Rum, a blend of fully matured dark rums in oak casks, is a distinctive Guyana-exclusive rum. Matured in Guyana, it undergoes final blending and bottling in Scotland by the brand’s owner. This results in a rum brimming with character and flavour.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 40% abv.
TASTING NOTES
The profile is mostly cocoa (not chocolate as it is slightly bitter) but it has a fruity taste as well. A little bit of raisin or currants. In terms of ageing it is not know how long that has spent in the cask, however it doesn’t exhibit any oakiness which can be common in some older Demerara rum’s.
