The Hearach Whisky, Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the inaugural single malt from Isle of Harris distillery, The Hearach is a historic whisky inspired by their home on the small Outer-Hebridean island. The first legal dram from Harris, every drop has been made by local people to revive the distilling culture that was lost in the 1840s. It has been matured for a minimum of five years, in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso and Fino sherry butts, and is lightly peated at 12-15ppm. Presented at 46% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
