The Balvenie Doublewood celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2018, proving its status as a core member of the Balvenie family of whiskies. Called the Doublewood due to being aged in two different types of cask before being harmoniously married together, this bottle is a perfect balance of the two influences and great for any collection. The whisky starts in ex-bourbon cases before being transferred to first-fill sherry casks, which allow for a deeper flavour to develop. As one of the Balvenie’s most popular expressions, the Doublewood is sure to be enjoyed by any whisky enthusiast for its rich and complex structure.
