The Balvenie 14-year-old Caribbean Cask uses the double cask aging process perfected by Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart MBE. The whisky is first aged in traditional oak casks before being transferred to American oak casks previously filled with Caribbean rum. The double aging process allows the traditional casks to impart the classic Balvenie flavours which are then beautifully complemented by the flavours left behind by the rum. The result is an exceptional single malt whisky with the traditional smooth, honeyed character of The Balvenie married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, with a warm, lingering finish.
Available in 70cl bottles at 43% abv.
