Tamnavulin Sherry Cask is one of three core bottlings from the distillery. Having started its maturation in ex-American oak Barrels, it is then finished in three different types of Spanish ex-Sherry cask to give the sweet, mellow and smooth taste of Tamnavulin.
The distillery is situated in the rural village of Tomnavulin on the banks of the Corrie Stream and the River Livet. They draw their water from an underground spring in the Easterton Hills. This water is formed by snowmelt from the surrounding mountains and is naturally filtered through ancient limestone rock.
