Tamnavulin Double Cask is part of the Tamnavulin core collection of bottlings which reflect perfectly the unique taste of Tamnavulin: a sweet, mellow and smooth single malt. A revelation from the Speyside Valley. The Double Cask has started maturation im ex-American oak barrels then finished in Sherry Oak, giving a sweet, toffee-like character.
The distillery is situated in the rural village of Tomnavulin on the banks of the Corrie Stream and the River Livet. They draw their water from an underground spring in the Easterton Hills. This water is formed by snowmelt from the surrounding mountains and is naturally filtered through ancient limestone rock.
