Myer's Rum Original Dark is 100% Fine Jamaican Rum. This rum is produced using only pure Jamaican molasses and is distilled using continuous and pot stills, it is then matured for up to four years in white oak barrels. The result is a rich dark rum with hints of caramel and burnt toffee almost like black treacle.The Original Dark Rum is slightly unique in Jamaica however, because some of the molasses used earlier in the process is added back in after distillation.

TASTING NOTES
It is a bold rum, big on flavour, with hints of caramel and burnt toffee almost like black treacle, but at the same time it has very little sweetness.
