Mannochmore, built by DCL in 1971, was constructed to meet the growing international demand for blended whiskies. Like its sister plant, Glenlossie, it has a strong association with the Haig and Dimple brands. Consequently, this 12-year-old expression from Glenlossie is one of the few single malt bottlings produced by the distillery and is part of Diageo’s Flora and Fauna range.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 43% abv.
TASTING NOTES
Butter, sweet grass, hint of parma violets, honeysuckle and toffees on the nose. On the palate there's hints of dark wood and spice with sweet buttercream. Medium-long finish with fading sweet wood.
