Laphroaig Oak Select is a core expression of this classic Islay Whisky. It is the distilleries most "laid-back" expression, with a marriage of five different casks across a range of ages. The result is a balanced character with sweet and subtle smoke.

TASTING NOTES
COLOUR
A sparkling gold with layers of colour.
NOSE
Classic, medicinal peat notes up front, supported by citrus-y, chocolate-y sweet notes and soft barley.
TASTE
The peat is there, but it's taking it easy and letting the bright notes of lemon, green apples and mint stand out. Darker baking spice notes develop further on.
FINISH
Medium length, peat remaining in sight until it's over.
