Laphroaig’s 10 Year Old Sherry Cask edition boasts a harmonious blend of sweetness and complexity, infused with the essence of Oloroso Sherry Casks used in its finishing. This exceptional expression commences with the same meticulous process employed in its regular 10 Year Old Laphroaig. After extracting rich character from ex-Bourbon barrels, the spirit then finds solace in casks that were previously filled with Oloroso sherry. Each barrel is meticulously hand-selected to enhance the quintessential single malt’s complexity. It’s this unique combination of flavours that layers notes of Manuka honey and grilled bacon upon its renowned characteristics of peat smoke and seaweed.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
'Medicinal' notes of peat smoke and Manuka honey with strong cloves, leather, iodine and smoky bacon.
TASTE
Sweet and aromatic with rich waxy notes. Followed by toffee, maple syrup, dark chocolate, pine needle and cedar.
FINISH
Lingering sweetness and smouldering peat smoke with nuttiness and a hint of brine.
