Knockando 18 Year Old is a part of the distilleries Slow Matured series. This series is known for its remarkably consistent production of rich, sweet, and satisfying single malt Scotch whisky. The whisky is aged in former sherry casks before being bottled without chill-filtration.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 43% abv.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Plenty of dried fruit, orange rind and sweet oak leads among nutmeg and oily walnuts.
TASTE
Baked apples, sticky toffee and toasted almonds combine among flickers of hot cinnamon.
FINISH
Sherried malt and honey lingers.
