Kilchoman Sanaig, named after an inlet on Islay’s rugged Atlantic coast, is a unique blend of oloroso sherry hogshead finishes and fully matured casks. The distillery sources all its sherry casks from José y Miguel Martín, and the consistency of these casks is particularly evident in the higher-strength expressions. At cask strength, Sanaig offers an extraordinary combination of rich peat smoke and sweet cooked fruits, culminating in a deep, long-lasting, and glutinous finish.
