Highland Park’s 12-year-old is the heart and soul of the distillery. It’s a perfect harmony of aromatic smoky peat, sweet heather honey, and rich fruit cake. The natural golden amber colour comes directly from the cask. It’s a great introduction to the unique warmth of Orkney heather peat and the convivial spirit of their island home.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 40% abv.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Floral honey and underripe pears, pithy orange, just a hint of Sweetarts candy, spiced fruitcake, subtle peat and smoke.
TASTE
More floral honey and tart citrus, spiced fruitcake is there as well, and it’s joined by slightly bolder, earthier peat and smoke notes.
FINISH
Medium-long. Tart citrus and cinnamon and sugar fade early leaving that tannic oak, baking spice and earthy, heathery peat and wispy smoke to linger.
