Glenlossie Distillery was built in 1876 and ran independently until 1919 when it became part of the DCL group. Always one of the Speyside blending powerhouses, its four stills were increased to six in 1962 and since 1971 it has shared its site with Mannochmore. Glenlossie is rarely seen as a single malt (even as an independent bottling), which means that this 10 year old is one of very few bottlings, and is part of Diageo's Flora & Fauna range.

TASTING NOTES
The nose is full of cereal and grist. Notes of peels and malt with wood shavings and hay. The palate is of good body with a decent sweetness and plenty of fruit with barley sugar and peppy oak. The finish is long with gristy tannins.
