Glen Spey 12 year old is a core expression from this little know Speyside distillery. Bottled as part of the Flora & Fauna range this is a smooth, pleasant and lighter style single malt Speyside with tropical and fruity notes of ripe peaches pineapple and hints of lemon. Fresh, green nose with wisps of smoke, then light, smooth sweetness balancing to a dry finish.

TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
Pale gold.
NOSE
Lightly fruity - greengages and white grapes. With water, fresh and estery, but still relatively closed. Green pea-pods. Wisp of smoke - dead fires or charred wood. Nose reduces considerably with development. Warm wood.
TASTE
Warming. Light sweetness, with some acidity.
FINISH
Dry, medium length. Some chocolate and light coconut in the aftertaste.
