Representing half of Eden Mill’s new flagship core range, the Sherry Cask Single Malt is finished in a 50:50 blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries. This gives it a full-bodied bouquet of flavours on top of their grassy, floral new make spirit.
This maturation style pays homage to the house style that can be expected from the new distillery. It’s a Lowland whisky with a Highland heart, seamlessly combining a sweet, grassy, and floral new make with a robust, spicy, and fruity maturation style.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 46% abv.
TASTING NOTES
The finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin in Spain give a decadent natural colour and a luxurious flavour profile. Sticky toffee pudding, nut brittle, chocolate raisins and cinnamon spice provide layer upon layer of decadence.
