Mòine, translating to “Peat” in Scots Gaelic, pronounced Moy-n-yah, is quite distinct from the distillery’s typical softer, unpeated whiskies. The combination of peated malted barley and a subsequent spirit run imparts this liquid its distinctive smoky character.
