Benriach The Smoky Ten is a new expression in the newly rebranded Benriach core range. The Smoky Ten builds on the distillery's experience of using malted barley smoked with Highland peat. This wood rich Highland peat imparts distinctly sweet and smoky notes into the whisky. This expression is matured for at least 10 years in three cask types namely bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak. The result is a whisky with layers of sunripe fruit, aromatic smoke and toasted oak spice.
