This family-owned distillery began with the conversion of a steading in 2012. Aiming to support the local area, 80% of the tradesmen that worked on building the distillery came from within 25 miles of Ballindalloch. Work finished in 2014,
and filled their first ever cask in September that year.
This limited release from the Ballindalloch Distillery has been matured solely a first-fill Bourbon Hogshead which was originally filled on 30th June 2016, and bottled on 27th August 2024. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.4% with natural colouring and non-chill filtration.
