This family-owned distillery, established in 2012, began with the conversion of a steading. The distillery’s primary objective was to support the local community, and 80% of the tradespeople involved in its construction were from within 25 miles of Ballindalloch. The distillery was completed in 2014, and in September of that year, they filled their first-ever cask.
This limited-edition release from the Ballindalloch Distillery has been matured exclusively in a first-fill Bourbon Hogshead. The cask was originally filled on June 30, 2016, and bottled on August 27, 2024. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.4%, it retains its natural colour and undergoes non-chill filtration.
Each bottle contains 70cl of 62.4% alcohol by volume.
