The GlenAllachie Distillery was the fourth distillery designed by William-Delme Evans and built by MacKinley McPherson (distilling arm of Scottish and Newcastle). It was designed to be almost full gravity fed to run on reduced energy in 1967.

The Glenallachie 2008, Cask #3966, 12 Year Old, Rioja Barrel, is part of the 3nd Batch Release of the Glenallachie Single Cask Range.  Rioja the region synonymous with Spain and Wine, produces wines mostly containing the Tempranillo grape aged in cask for many years. These Barrels are sourced from some of the regions top producers and deliver wonderful notes of summer berries combined with a depth of body leading to a long finish (much as you would expect form the wines).  It is bottled at a respectable 56.6% alc./vol. Hand numbered gift box and bottle.

700ML at 56.6% alc./vol, unchilfiltered and natural colour.
