The Glenrothes 10 Years Old is the entry level expression from the Glenrothes Soleo Collection, named for the sun-drying process for grapes destined to become sherry in Jerez. It is lighter and more subtle than most whisky and as such it makes a good introduction for those looking to get into whisky. After 10 years in Sherry casks, the delicate palate is ever so slightly sweet with refreshing lemon peel leading on to a lingering sweet and zesty finish.
